What happens to old appliances
If you have an old appliance that you need to get rid of, you may be wondering what happens to it. Appliances are recycled just like any other type of metal. Some appliances can even be repaired and resold.
Recycling: Most appliances can be recycled. Appliances are recycled by breaking them down into their component parts. The metals are then separated and sold to metal recycling companies. The plastics are also recycled.
Repairing: Some appliances can be repaired and resold. Appliances that are in good condition can be repaired and sold at a fraction of the cost of buying a new one.
Donating: Another option for old appliances is to donate them to charity. Many charities will pick up old appliances and either sell them or use them in their own operations.
Discarding: Appliances that are beyond repair or that are not worth recycling can be discarded. Appliances that are discarded are usually taken to a landfill.
As you can see, there are many options for what to do with old appliances. Appliances can be recycled, repaired, or donated. If you have an appliance that you need to get rid of, consider one of these options. Thanks for reading!

How to remove an undercabinet microwave.
Do you have an old, outdated microwave that’s taking up prime real estate in your kitchen? It may be time to remove it and free up some space. In this blog post, we will give you step-by-step instructions on how to remove an undercabinet microwave. So gather your tools and let’s get started!
Gather your tools
Before you start removing your microwave, make sure you have all of the necessary tools handy. You’ll need a screwdriver, power drill, and a strong hand. If you don’t have a power drill, you can borrow one from a friend or neighbor. Just make sure to return it once you’re finished! Now that you have your tools, let’s move on to the next step.
Remove the Screws
Using your screwdriver, loosen the retaining screws located on top of the microwave that is running through the cabinet. Usually, there are two or three. Before completely removing the screws make sure to place a hand on the bottom of the cabinet as the microwave will start to drop.
Remove the microwave from under the cabinet
Remove all of the screws with a hand under the microwave. Then lift up the bottom rear of the microwave away from the wall bracket using a solid hand. Remove the power cable from inside the cabinet after moving out of range.
Once your microwave is removed call Millers Junk Removal – Jackson to get an estimate on your appliance removal.
